Where you might be
You may be here because…
- You know something needs to change, but the life your career supports makes a leap feel irresponsible.
- You can imagine more than one future, and none comes with the certainty you want.
- If money were no object, you have a good sense of what you would pursue.
- Other people rely on you at work or at home, and their needs keep outranking your own.
- You have researched, reflected, networked, or experimented, but you still have not committed to a direction.
- You want somewhere to think out loud with someone who has no stake in what you decide.
The real tension
The choice is rarely stay or leap.
You may be protecting income, family stability, flexibility, professional credibility, or people who rely on you. Those stakes deserve serious attention.
But the familiar path carries risk too. A role can keep paying well while costing energy, narrowing future options, or moving you further from the life you want.
Coaching helps widen the frame. We get specific about what must be protected, look beyond the two most obvious choices, and begin building evidence through small, real-world steps.
Every path carries risk, even the familiar one.
How it works
Build the path by walking it.
Career change rarely follows a straight line. Reflection matters, but some answers only become visible through action. We use a repeating process of imagining, testing, learning, and adjusting.
Picture possibilities.
Give several possible futures enough shape to explore. You do not need a perfect destination, only possibilities concrete enough to test.
Protect what matters.
Name the financial, family, health, and practical guardrails any responsible path must respect.
Practice the possibilities.
Use projects, conversations, applications, experiments, or first clients to learn through direct experience.
Connect with new worlds.
Spend time with people who can show you what a different kind of work actually looks and feels like.
Reflect and reinvest.
Make sense of what you learn, then decide what deserves more time, energy, or commitment.
The order is rarely linear. Most people move through these more than once, and each iteration makes the next decision clearer.
The shape of the work
Structure and perspective, with the decision still yours.
What this is
A thinking partnership with structure. You bring the questions. I bring good questions of my own, an honest read, and what I know from organizational psychology, adult development, and years of watching people work through change.
I may offer a framework, an observation, or an informed perspective when it would help. You remain the author of the decision.
Practical. Insight earns its keep when it changes what you do on an ordinary Tuesday.
What this isn't
Therapy or clinical care. If you are working through something that needs treatment, a therapist is the right partner, and coaching can sit alongside that work.
I will not push you toward one direction or decide which path you should take.
I will not assume that meaningful change requires blowing up your life. Staying can be the right answer. So can waiting. The work is to understand what each choice protects, costs, and makes possible.
Why work with me
I know this terrain from the inside.
I'm an organizational psychologist. I've spent nearly two decades studying how people work, lead, and change, and many of those years leading teams and building products inside growing organizations. I know what organizations reward, and what they quietly cost the people inside them.
I also know these questions from my own life. I've had to rethink the shape of a career I worked hard to build, alongside a marriage, a family, and the ordinary weight of running a household. I haven't solved it. I do know how to help someone think well in the middle of it.
I have no stake in what you decide. My job is to help you see more of the decision, build a responsible way forward, and stay beside you while you test it in real life.
What this makes possible
More than one good decision.
The immediate goal is a next move you can feel confident about. The deeper work is learning how to shape a career and life that can evolve with you while staying rooted in what and who matter most.
