What it is
Most personality tools put you in a category and tell you what people in that category tend to be like. This one works differently. It maps your specific patterns — how you process decisions, what drains you before you notice it, where you create friction without meaning to. The result is a portrait, not a profile.
You work through 10 trait spectrums, add notes where you want nuance, and answer a few optional questions about yourself. Your portrait generates in about two minutes. What comes back is specific enough that most people find something in it they’ve never quite had words for.
Completely free. No account. We’ll email you a link so you can return to your portrait anytime.
Why it works differently
The questions are intentionally brief.
I have a background in quantitative and industrial-organizational psychology, and my doctoral work focused on personality assessment. Over the years, I’ve become especially interested in how to make psychological insight feel both rigorous and deeply human.
Most personality tools look at traits in isolation. But in real life, traits interact.
High sociability paired with low assertiveness feels very different from the reverse. High responsibility combined with low orderliness can create a specific kind of internal tension that neither trait fully explains on its own.
Inner Portrait is designed to look at those patterns together — which is often why people feel unusually seen by the results.

You’re more knowable than you think.
Most people who try this have already done the popular tests. They know their type. What they’re missing is language for the specific patterns underneath — why certain situations cost them more than others, what they’re reaching for when they’re at their best, what’s happening when they keep getting in their own way.
